Bibliotherapy Group

We believe words offer solace. Experiences of those who have come before us, help us understand and navigate our challenges better. We learn from others' experiences and are less alone in this journey called life. Come explore and reflect on a chosen piece of literature each month (varying from poetry, short story, novel, memoirs, and more) in a warm and cosy setting. The perfect way to connect with like-minded individuals and to yourself through literature under the guidance of a licensed mental health practitioner.

New Dates for 2024 will be announced soon

Location: The Chestnut Tree Bookshop, 542 Barkly St, West Footscray VIC 3012

Time: TBD

Please note: This session is suitable for adults only.

“Priya is one of my favourite people. I’ve only known her for under a year but each time I see her, the energy she exudes always affects my emotional well-being in a positive way. I describe her as nurturing and loving, so it’s very fitting and beneficial to society that she’s a counsellor 😁 I personally recommend her to all my personal training clients. I’m also a part of the bibliotherapy group she runs and I look forward to every session. Do yourself a favour and keep her in your contacts, she’s a ray of sunshine she is.”
